The PL-1640 metal working lathe is the perfect combination of size and power.  This precision lathe features a 16 inch swing and 40 inch between centers and has features that will allow your shop to grow for years.

The PL-1640 is built to Baileigh industrials high standards and has everything that a machine shop could want.  The PL-1640 has a full cast iron base that is integrated into the main frame of the lathe, making this one of the most rigid lathes on the market.  It is powered by a 7.5 hp motor and can turn rpms form 30 to 2000 through its 12 speeds.  The PL-1640 metal working lathe is built to withstand years of use in any metal working shop and features precision ground and hardened ways.

The Baileigh Industrial PL-1860 engine lathe is a great investment that out performs other lathes in this class.  It is affordable, rugged, reliable and easy to operate.  The PL-1860 includes a vast array of features and accessories as standard equipment.   Things like the Mitutoyo 2 Axis Digital Readout System, 8 inch 3-Jaw Universal Chuck, 8 inch Back Plate, Coolant System, Steady Rest, Follow Rest, Headstock Chuck Guard with Micro switch, Micrometer Saddle Stop, Rear Splash Guard, and Halogen Work Light are all included.

Constructed from 100 percent cast iron, the PL-1860 engine lathe is built to last and is known for consistent performance and durability even under the most demanding work conditions.  Precision ground and hardened ways on the PL-1860 are further protected by a Turcite-B coating, which offers years of protection to the ways when under the most grueling turning conditions.

The PL-1860 gear head lathe has 12 different speed combinations allowing for speeds between 80 and 2000 RPM.  A powerful 7-1/2 HP motor allows for heavy cuts to be shaved off of the turned part.  This allows for better turned surfaces, faster production, and longer tooling life.

The PL-2060 gap bed lathe has a 20 inch swing and 60 inch between the centers and is the perfect size for almost any machine shop or fabrication shop where a precision cut is the most important thing.  The PL-2060 has a 15 hp motor that is run on220 volts of three phase power.  This is more than enough power to handle the most demanding jobs.

The body of the PL-2060 is made from cast iron that is precisely machined to exacting tolerances to ensure a rigid and stable platform in which to work.  Baileigh Industrial only uses the best casting suppliers for their lathes.  The ways are polished and have integrated wipers to keep them moving like the day they were ne for years to come.
