The CS-C385SA vertical column cold saw is perfect for those medium duty cutting applications that a great quality cut is important. The
CS-C385SA can accept up to a 15-3/4 inch diameter cold saw blade that will increase the cutting capacity to a robust 4.7 inch, and also extends the life of the blade.
The CS-C385SA from Baileigh Industrial can miter 45 degrees left or right in seconds. This is a semi-automatic production saw that comes with a metered stop rod for
repeatable cuts. Operation of a semi-automatic saw is very simple and saves wear and tear on the operator. Simply press the foot pedal at and the hydraulic vice clamps the material, the
blade and coolant system starts up and the upper cutting carriage starts the descent cutting through the material. When finished the coolant and blade shuts off while the upper cutting carriage
returns to its home position. The heavy-duty column construction allows for quicker cutting times, perfect surface finishes without the need of secondary facing applications.
Like all Baileigh Industrial cold saws, the construction of the CS-C385SA is unparalleled and consists of a steel cabinet that houses the electronics, coolant
system, and industrial grade hydraulic system. On top of this cabinet is a solid cast base that houses the hydraulic vise and the upper cutting carriage which consists of an industrial grade gear
box coupled to the saw blade drive system, industrial grade motor, and finally the industrial grade hydraulic down feed and return system.
